Sue Luke

Sue's main area of research is science education. She has a particular interest in enquiry-based learning, children’s curiosity and learning beyond the classroom.

Sue is a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education (Science Coordinator for Primary ITE). Her main area of expertise is in primary science and early years education. She has extensive experience of teaching across the age range in a variety of schools and coordinating science teaching and learning.

Sue has been awarded funding to undertake research in science:

• Exploring student’s perceptions of science subject knowledge (2011/12).
• What do you do with a ‘Wonder of the World’ moment? A project working with teachers and children in school (2013 – current).
