Biography
I am Senior Lecturer in Psychology, specialising in Cognitive Neuroscience. I joined the Psychology Department at Winchester in November 2013, following a postdoctoral research and teaching position at the University of Westminster. I gained my PhD and MSc from Goldsmiths, University of London, and my BSc from Bangor University.

Research interests
My primary research interest is the biological basis of cognitive biases in psychopathology, for example those found in obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression. My current research focuses on thought-action fusion and thought suppression, and I study these using a variety of techniques including electrophysiology, transcranial electrical stimulation, and genetic association studies.
Supervision of research students
I am available for research supervision; my areas of supervision are: electroencephalography (EEG), including ERPs and oscillations; obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and OC symptoms in non-clinical populations; cognitive biases associated with psychopathology, especially thought-action fusion; thought-suppression and overgeneral autobiographical memory.
