Biography
Jaana Jeffery is the Programme lead for the Nutrition and Dietetic undergraduate degree at the University of Winchester. She is an experienced HCPC registered dietitian (RD) with a breadth of clinical experience within the NHS setting. Her passion is cancer care which is where her focus has been from both an academic and clinical perspective.
Jaana's doctoral research is exploring the provision of and access to dietary interventions for women living with and beyond a breast cancer. She is passionate about interprofessional working and is currently the only allied health professional (AHP) working with the UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) where she sits on the Personalised Care Committee. She is a regular speaker for many cancer charities, industry partners providing education sessions for other health professionals.
