Research interests
Dr Irfan Sahibzada is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Winchester. He has a PhD degree from Bangor University and an MSc in Finance from UEA UK. Dr Sahibzada has published his work on the impact of sovereign credit ratings on systemic risk and equity market sectors in leading finance journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance and the International Review of Economics and Finance. His research interests span the areas of sovereign and corporate credit risk, banking regulations, corporate finance, and Islamic equity investments.
