Research interests
Dr. Kerry Ball is the Head of ITE Quality and Mentor Leadership team and a Senior Lecturer in Research Methods in the Institute of Education at the University of Winchester, specialising in postgraduate education and medical education research. With extensive experience supervising Masters and Doctorate students, Kerry teaches research methodologies and develops evaluation strategies using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Kerry’s research expertise includes thematic analysis, statistical analysis using SPSS, and mixed-methods evaluation. Kerry has led numerous research projects, collaborated with key stakeholders in education and healthcare, and contributed to scholarly publications. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a recognised research supervisor for the UK Council for Graduate Education Kerry is committed to fostering academic excellence and supporting student success.
