Biography
I have been a fully accredited doctor in the UK since 1991 (GMC no. 3579116.) I trained as a psychiatrist at the Maudsley and University College London rotations and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1998. I was then appointed as a Clinical Lecturer at UCL where I specialised as a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist as part of the Tavistock Clinic Rotation in London 2003.
I have been a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist for over twelve years. I am currently employed by Solent NHS trust at the Orchard Centre, Southampton’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
I have been a lead tutor of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for 15 years and I am currently the module coordinator for psychiatry in Southampton School of Medicine.
