Angus welcomes enquiries about research supervision; his research interests lie in the relationships between theology and Scripture and between the church and politics; he is particularly interested in the theologies of John Howard Yoder, Stanley Hauerwas and P.T. Forsyth.

Dr Angus Paddison is Reader in Theology and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. he studied at Cambridge University and the University of Glasgow and held research posts at the Universities of Gloucestershire and Nottingham before coming to Winchester. Formerly Director of Academic Quality and Development at the University, he was appointed Faculty Dean in 2016.
