CLASS JOURNEYS: WORKING AND STUDYING IN HIGHER EDUCATION – BEING WORKING CLASS IN THE ACADEMY Class and academia remain a contested terrain. This event therefore aims to provide a platform for an engagement with the idea of working-class journeys as well as offering an element of clarity, commonality and advice for those who are struggling with some of the issues of class in the academy.
